ABOUT SERPICO COLLECTION
Serpico Collection blends sculptural fashion with architectural inspiration.
Architecture Meets Artistry in Modern Form
The SERPICO Collection is a modern, contemporary fashion company which combines elements of architecture, fine art, and craftsmanship. The Chicago-based fashion house was created by designer Melissa Serpico Kamhout. The design house creates unique style fusions of structural and moving parts; texture and emotion through elevated elegance.

Our Roots
Creative Vision
As a way to see fashion as being immersed within the realm of creativity as opposed to a label or business venture, SERPICO Collection views the intersection of sculpture and minimalism as one that defines its view on creating original ideas. All concepts created by the studio are developed utilizing thoughtful process; timelessness; and artistic distinctiveness.
The Creative Dream
The central premise of SERPICO Collection is the belief that people can express themselves creatively through their clothing. Through the fusion of architectural shapes and forms, the atmosphere of cinema, and cultural diversity, the studio creates visual experiences that are current, intelligent, and emotionally charged.
The brand supports:
Sculpture and silhouette
Layering of materials and textures
Craftsmanship (hand-made) detailing
Luxury and minimalism
Storytelling (editorial)
Balance and proportion (architectural)
With each concept, the artist is able to convey creativity, self-assurance and a clear sense of style representing contemporary refinement.

Drawn From the World We Live In
The visual direction of SERPICO Collection is influenced by numerous creative disciplines and environments. These include:
Contemporary architecture
Fine craftsmanship originating from Europe
Art galleries and museums
Travel experiences
Urban cultural expressions
The aesthetic of the brand is shaped by:
Spaces representative of modern architecture
Installations representative of contemporary art
Traditions of European textiles
Mood and light associated with film

From these diverse sources emerge a visual identity which seems both timeless, and sophisticated; yet also engagingly immersive.
